Thank You for Purchasing “The Set Screw Crown” – Horn Cover Attachment!  Please read First: Easy Mounting Instructions:

1. Purchase permatex hi temp. RTV Silicone Gasket Maker (ultra black) & Permatex “blue medium strength” threadlocker for set screws at auto parts store.

2. Carefully Remove stock horn cover with horn, and disconnect electronics, if nut is too tight use thread loosener

3. Place “The Crown” Horn Cover attachment on stock horn cover for fit, (set screws facing horizontal) I like to mount ¾” above the bottom of stock horn.

4. Clean off stock horn cover with alcohol and remove all dirt, find something to rest the stock horn cover on so it lays flat horizontally.

5. With rtv silicone apply 1 bead in each of the channels on the underside of “the Crown” horn cover attachment, FILL BOTH CHANNELS  UP NICELY

6. With the Set screws horizontal press “The Crown” on the stock horn cover and press down FIRMLY, make sure the incline planes straddle and line up with the center line of the horn cover, and the crown’s sides are flat on the horn cover. This crown should look like it’s part of the cow bell horn cover.

DO NOT MOVE “The Crown” AROUND – this will cause silicone to smear. If it smears, allow it to dry and peel off next day!

7. Allow silicone in channels to cure overnight at least 12 hours. Or more. (if under 55 degrees allow more time for silicone to cure)

*8. Place coin in center, press down, tighten set screws evenly and “firmly” to secure sides of coin in. If coin rocks, loosen set screws and retighten set screws evenly, firmly, unitl coin doesn’t rock. We also recommend the use of Permatex “blue medium strength” threadlocker for your set screws to keep them tight.

NOTE: do not over tighten this will strip the set screws or the allen wrench! Check set screws and coin periodically.

9. Mount horn back on your bike (check horn function) Please Do Not Wax over your coin, to clean coin use mild soap and water only, RIDE WITH PRIDE!

Easy coin removal, replace or flip coin Instructions:

1.  Loosen 1 set screw to remove, replace, or flip coin over, mount new coin, press down and tighten set screws firmly and evenly to sides of coin.(no rocking)
