Risking their lives each day to confront society's most dangerous criminals, the superbly skilled and exceptionally courageous members of America's SWAT teams are inspired by the example of St. Michael, who led the army of God against the renegade Lucifer in the ultimate battle between good and evil.
This coin salutes the outstanding dedication and commitment exhibited by all SWAT team officers. The obverse depicts St. Michael, the Patron Saint of Law Enforcement, standing triumphantly over the defeated figure of Lucifer. The reverse features a two-man SWAT team actively engaging their target.
