1 ¾” Diameter:Minted in approximately 1.23 ounces of .999 pure silver, this Harley-Davidson® challenge coin is given an antique finish and packaged in an airtight lucite capsule. The coin is then placed in a velour lined leatherette presentation box of museum quality, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Saint Columbanis of Bobbio was a daring and intrepid explorer of the road who is recognized as the patron saint of motorcyclists. Born in Ireland in the sixth century, Columbanis (also known as “Columbanus” and “Columbani”) felt a great calling to roam the earth and spread his gospel. He was renowned and celebrated for the miracles he performed and the following he gained while on his travels. The fearless Columbanis had a rebel spirit and, according to legend, even wild animals bowed to his will when in his presence. Today, Saint Columbanis serves as the guardian spirit for motorcycle riders everywhere. When you carry this coin, you’re protected any time you saddle up and point your handlebars down the road. The obverse depicts a picture of Saint Columbanis embedded in a crimson background with his watchful gaze defending those who live to ride and ride to live. The iconic “Harley” logo is on the reverse. This coin fits in a 1.8" Medallion Plate Cover
